Senior school Annual Day 2024:Anvikshiki

On December 6, 2024, OPJMS celebrated its Annual Day event, Anvikshiki, with great enthusiasm in Tranagini, the school auditorium. The event featured captivating performances by 550 students from grades six to twelve, showcasing their talents in singing, instrumental music, dance, and acting. Major General Amit Talwar (General Officer Commanding, Vishisht Seva Medal) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event was made special by the presence of eminent members of Jindal Organisation and society, reputed academicians and parents.

The programme commenced with musical extravaganza ‘Nadabrahma,’ a delightful blend of classical ragas and cinema songs based on those ragas, performed melodiously by the students. It was followed by the play Kautilya Darpan.The performance was a true spectacle, with the students’ impressive coordination, captivating acting, stunning stage decoration, and enchanting musical elements leaving the audience utterly spellbound. The play brought Chanakya’s ethos to life in a way that was both educational and entertaining, showcasing the immense talent and dedication of the students.

Major General Talwar praised the dedication of the teachers and students, commending their excellent performance in both academics and extracurricular activities. He highlighted the relevance of Chanakya’s timeless principles, which were brought to life by the students in the play.
