OPJMS hosted a science conclave SANKSHETRA: A Realm of Science on 28th January 2023

The School hosted a science conclave SANKSHETRA: A Realm of Science on 28th January 2023, in the school auditorium. About 75 Senior Science teachers from 25 different schools across Hisar, attended the conclave.
 
The themes of the conclave were:
  1. Lateral Extensions of the NCERT Syllabus to Promote Scientific Temperament
  2. ‘Vertical Alignment of the CBSE Syllabus vis-a-vis Competitive Examinations
The conclave involved a series of plenary sessions, interspersed with experiments, activities, quizzes and brainstorming.
 
The chief guest was Dr. Sujata Sanghi, Ex-Chairperson, Department of Physics,Guru Jambheshwar University Of Science & Technology and Special guest was Mr. Narendra Kumar Bhatia, District Science Specialist.
 
The chief guest in her address welcomed the initiative and spoke about promoting scientific temperament in the young generation and said such innovative practices should be encouraged.
 
The Principal Ma’am Nandita Sahu welcomed all the guests to the conclave and hoped that the session would be enlightening and would lead to sharing of best teaching learning practices in the educational community.
