Formation of the Student Council for the Session 2025–26 at OPJMS
In keeping with tradition, OP Jindal Modern School organized the election for the new Student Council for the academic session 2025–26, adhering to the institution’s established protocols. The election process was conducted via an e-voting system, ensuring a transparent and democratic procedure. The grand and solemn Oath-taking and Investiture Ceremony of the newly elected council members was held on 5th August 2025 in the school auditorium.
The event began with the esteemed arrival of Guest of honour, followed by a dignified flag hoisting ceremony and Guard of Honour. Soon after, to the stirring and energetic notes of the school anthem, “Shine JMS Shine,” the elected council members made their entrance into the auditorium with grace and discipline.
The newly appointed Student Council comprises 100 bright and promising students from Classes V, VIII, XI, and XII, each entrusted with significant responsibilities. These students took a solemn oath to uphold their duties with dedication and sincerity. For the distinguished roles of Head Boy and Head Girl, the talented students Akshita Dhillon and Keshav Khattar from Class XII were selected. Similarly, Kanika and Priyanshu Yadav were elected as Sports Head Boy and Sports Head Girl. In other leadership roles, Yashvi and Aniket Pandey were appointed Editorial Heads, Pakhi Gupta and Manthan as Cultural Heads, and Ashita and Bhavik as Welfare Heads.
In the election for the deputy positions, Vipul Jindal and Lipisha Nitin Kumar from Class XI were chosen as Vice Head Boy and Vice Head Girl. Abhiraj and Reet Bishnoi were selected as Vice Sports Head Boy and Vice Sports Head Girl. Adil and Kanika were elected as Vice Cultural Heads, Rakshit Nagpal and Jyoti as Vice Editorial Heads, and Gautam Bhardwaj and Shonima as Vice Welfare Heads.
For the leadership of the middle school, Hriday Goyal and Ashrita from Class VIII were appointed Head Boy and Head Girl, while Udayveer Verma and Priyanshi were chosen as Sports Captains.
To guide the younger students in the primary wing, Rewant and Raisha from Class V were entrusted with the positions of Junior Head Boy and Junior Head Girl, and Advik and Anvi were appointed as Junior Sports Captains.
The ceremony was graced by the inspiring presence of the school Principal, Ms. Nandita Sahu, who conferred the badges and flags upon the newly elected council members. With heartfelt words of encouragement, she emphasized the essence of true leadership and inspired the students to embark on their journeys with courage, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
